There’s a farmers market that supports the NC Agriculture industry with food provided by local farmers. Some items like mangoes, papaya’s and avocados are shipped in and sold in bulk. But many fruits and vegetables at this marker are grown in NC. Fresh locally sourced produce within a short drive. I like getting fruits in bulk that are freezable for future use. Like strawberries, mangoes, papayas. Pricing is way better than at supermarkets and we support local farmers. Cut out the middle man.

One of my hobbies is to visit flea markets. I typically go hunting for something in particular when I can, but quite often, I’m just looking for some cool stuff. Many of the outside vendors in this flea market are foreigners. As the outside spots can be purchased for the day, say around $35-40. They will negotiate with buyers if you are interested in something. If you have traveled to international destinations, open air markets and negotiating is common practice. This is also part of the fun of visiting flea markets in general.
